How the projection works​

  • 7-day weighted rate — recent spending is weighted more heavily than older days, so the forecast reacts faster to changes in your spending pattern
  • Recurring expenses — upcoming recurring expenses due before the end of the month are added to the projection, so subscriptions and fixed costs are never missed
  • Budget warnings — any category projected to exceed its monthly budget is flagged
  • Savings forecast — if you track income, the predicted savings amount and rate are shown

Predictions require at least 3 days of data in the current month. Before that, there isn't enough history for a meaningful forecast.

Weekly digest​

If you opt in to the Weekly Digest, Duitbot automatically includes a spending forecast during the last week of the month (day 22+).

Plan requirement​

Spending prediction requires a Pro or Ultimate plan.
